For some unknown reason, it has slowed at Lee's work...and we actually got to have him home for the whole weekend! This is a really rare occurence for our family!!! So we enjoyed the time spent as a family.
Gracey has agreed that the carebear costume is too small and is now going to be a black cat...although she says she is going to be a Mad Cat. The first picture shows her trying on her mad cat outfit...without the ears though. We had to run to target this morning to get ears because it didn't come with them.
The next photo is of her out on the front porch yesterday making a seesaw from a stick we found, for some ants outside. Only Gracey.
This morning we woke up and the kids and Lee made blueberry scones together. As soon as he said that they could help him, they had their chairs scooted over to the counter. They really Love to cook.
The photo of Colty in the chair is something that we have noticed him doing lately. If he really really likes a car or a truck or a thomas train, he get's down low and lays either on the couch/chair or the floor and drives it back and forth and inspects it while lying really still and low to the floor. He is so focused and quiet that it is just so cute. I tried to catch him doing this but he saw me first and smiled , his big grin, so I had to put it on.
