Hiker

This is Max on his way out, to go hiking with his class the other day. They hiked around the "sutter buttes" (the worlds smallest mountain range) or should I say the only mountains visible here in this farming valley we live in? Anyway, he was so excited that he awoke and dressed for his adventure and walked around like this for a full hour before we left for school...did he have a good time...I think so, because I got a tired and sassy boy home at 3 pm...nothing that couldn't be fixed by a good dinner, a hot shower and an early bedtime.
