Not to much new stuff going on in our little house, but an little update is in order.
So Gracey girl seems to have taken an interest in styling hair like her beloved Aunt Lizzie. Colty doesn't seem to mind either, he likes to sit in front of her while Grace combs his hair after bath at night.
I made my first pumpkin pie this week at Max's request and the kid's loved it, they had an upside down day and had pie/dessert first and then dinner that day...this is the photo of them sitting at the table. (I do believe that Grace is showing her food, charming, eh?)
This week Max's class was reading a book about making Vegetable soup and we were asked to follow the recipe on the book and make it at home and bring it in to share with the class. Max loved that we did this! This is the photo of him standing in the kitchen...not too sure if you can see the pot of soup but it is there. We had good reviews and Mrs. Hancock said that the every little bit was eaten up by the kids in class. Have you ever heard of little kids liking veggie soup?
The last photo is of Max and Lee last night. Max has been trying to master tying his shoe since the school year began and last night he did it!

Looks like you guys have had a really fun week.
No...my kids would never eat vegie soup. Maybe there is something to be said for having kids help prepare food.
