Today is Max's actual birthday...we celebrated it last weekend with his sleepover.
Max is special in our hearts because of so many reasons. When he was little he loved firemen, rainboots, and his beloved blankie. His nickname quickly became Budsy, because he was and is Lee and I's little buddy. He loves nothing more than a good job to help with, he has an obsession with taking things apart because he MUST know how they work. (Sometimes this means they won't go back together at all or correctly, his Papa predicts he will become and engineer when he grows up). He loves to sing, when he was younger, his Papa named his singing "Yell singing" which is exactly what it was...not that it wasn't good singing, just a VERY loud volume.(He still does sing and I still love to hear it.) He has a talent for adding humor to the most tense situations. (this is one of my very favorite things about him..he always get's us rolling with laughter when things get tense). We love you so very much Budsy. Happy Birthday to you.
Later today when Lee arrives home, Max get's a big shopping trip to Toys R Us. (We asked him if he wanted presents or a gift card/shopping trip to pick out his own gifts and he picked the latter)Then we will go out to dinner with Max to celebrate his big day.
